Supporting Healthy Communities: Mosquito Control in Binduurk

Binduurk Community

At Indigenous Managed Services (IMS), community engagement is at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to support initiatives that promote the health and wellbeing of remote Aboriginal communities across Western Australia.

Last month, our team had the opportunity to deliver a second fogging machine to the Binduurk community near Beagle Bay as part of our ongoing mosquito management program. The image above features Ismail Jaffrey carrying out fogging operations at sunset using the new equipment supplied by IMS.

Mosquito-borne illnesses pose a significant risk in remote areas, and effective fogging is one way we can help reduce that risk. By working closely with local residents and leaders like Ismail, we ensure these efforts are tailored to meet the specific needs of each community.

We thank the Binduurk community for their continued trust and collaboration. Together, we’re building safer, healthier futures.
